Big Cottonwood Canyon
Big Cottonwood Canyon is a canyon in the Wasatch Range 12 miles southeast of Salt Lake City in the U.S. state of Utah. The 15-mile-long canyon provides hiking, biking, picnicking, rock-climbing, camping and fishing in the summer.

At Snowbasin, you can expect to see some wildlife. Moose, Deer, Wild Turkey, Porcupine, Hawks, Ermine and other critters are frequently seen across the resort. Mountain Goats can be spotted climbing the rugged summit of Mt. Ogden.

Rio Grande
The Rio Grande Depot was constructed in 1910. The building was designed by Henry Schlack, a Chicago architect known mainly for designing churches. For years the Rio Grande would serve as the return and departure point for many men and woman. From its opening in 1910, until the closing of its passenger service in 1999.
