Supreme Guardian Council Voting System

Welcome to the Supreme Guardian Council voting system!

The voting system will be open July 6 - July 13, 2020.

Cancellation of the 2020 Supreme Session made it necessary for voting delegates to have a private and secure method for voting on leadership and key issues for the upcoming Supreme Guardian Council year. This voting system was designed with that goal in mind.

This system will allow qualified voting delegates to vote on 3 main topics:
  • Election of Supreme Guardian Council Line Officers and Board of Trustees Positions
  • Voting on the 2020-2021 Supreme Guardian Council Budget
  • Voting on the location for the 2023 Supreme Session

There are links to the JDI website where election Letters of Intent, Budget and 2023 Session information are provided to help with decision making. Each voting opportunity has a selection menu to assist in the voting process. Each election selection menu contains the names of those aspiring to the office who submitted a Letter of Intent as well as an abstain option should you not want to vote in that category.

As per JDI law (SOP SGC 15.1, Section 3, Subsection (i)) an annual membership fee from each voting delegate provides eligibility to vote. This fee and service charge is collected by this system and transferred to JDI.

You will be asked to provide credential information to establish your eligibility to vote. This information is not tied to your vote selections. After the system closes, the JDI Supreme Office will verify voting credentials and then notify the voting system to count your votes.

For Board of Trustees selection, you will be voting for 3 positions due to recent legislation expanding the number of elected members. This is a ranked vote for two 3-year positions and one 2-year position. We also have a 1-year position open that will be appointed by the incoming Supreme Guardian since only 3 Letters of Intent were received.

Thank you for taking the time to cast your vote electronically.
